James Wilson Wright was born on June 25, 2013. Within the first year, we discovered that he had a very rare condition called Alexander Disease that impacts the development of the frontal lobe and area around his brainstem. He was very behind in all the milestones. He eventually learned to walk and speak to us and his hugs were amazing. He was a ray of sunshine wherever he went. He had a special gift of touching hearts. However, as the disease progressed, all the ground he had gained was lost. James died in his mother’s arms on June 8, 2021, just a few weeks shy of 8 years old. While he had many physical and mental limitations, he had an incredible smile and way of connecting and encouraging people. Your gift to Adventist Possibilities Ministry would allow James to keep giving encouragement, hope, and healing to special needs children and their families around the world in their times of need. A small committee will help decide which children or families will receive assistance from the fund when it is available.
